A multi-tiered dining and entertainment space recently opened in historic downtown Charleston, S.C.. The Habit offers several distinct experiences within the building's 13,000 square feet, which spans three floors and includes a rooftop lounge that overlooks the Charleston Harbor.
1920's art deco charm is "coupled with a decadent atmosphere of warm lighting, rich leather, sumptuous velvet, and objects d'art. The space is an exquisite blend of Americana, European, and Asian aesthetics," says Michelle Van Jura, owner and partner, The Habit.
The team behind The Habit curated a luxurious and cheeky experience in the venue's second-floor VIP lounge, V's, by melding glamorous art deco details with vintage Playboy magazines and a custom neon sign that reads, "Make it a Habit!"
The hybrid of dining and entertainment provides space for live music, burlesque performances, and comedy acts. The venue's second-floor VIP lounge and the rooftop space are available for private events.
