In a pulse survey fielded in December, rd+d readers were asked which types of restaurants they are working on right now and 49% said they were working on designing and developing full-service restaurants. An additional 19% said they were working specifically on fine-dining restaurants and 8% said they were working on chef-driven concepts.
Just 12% had quick-service restaurants on their boards in December. However, many readers noted they are juggling a variety of concept types including business and industry, higher education, stadiums, and supermarket foodservice offerings.
