Dallas-based MUTTS Canine Cantina will open its second location, this one in Fort Worth, Texas, in October.
Not your average dog park, MUTTS is an eatertainment/social concept that includes a walk-up bar offering local craft beer, a full-service bar offering burgers, shakes and bar fare, and a “Doggie Menu” for its four-legged patrons. The casual operation will outfit its indoor/outdoor spaces with HDTVs, picnic-style tables, and Adirondack lounge chairs for relaxing with friends and pups.
There will also be two fully-enclosed, fenced dog parks on over an acre of land for pets to stretch their legs. It will also include a dog washing area.
The dog park is accessible via daily, monthly or annual passes that include “Bark Rangers” who provide water and pick up both the owner’s and pet’s messes.
The pet-friendly concept will also host canine-centered special events, including “yappy” hour, movie nights and dog birthday “pawties.”
