Healthy rice bowl chain, WaBa Grill's newly reopened Yorba Linda, Calif., location will now serve as the brand’s corporate flagship and test kitchen.

WaBa Grill announced a new development deal that will bring 20 new restaurants to Northern California, from Fresno to Sacramento.

The space is designed to highlight the quality of its food while adjusting operations for off-premises, online ordering and third-party delivery.

The extraordinary events of 2020 have spelled turmoil, upheaval, retrenchment and, in many cases, surrender for much of the restaurant industry.
