Richardson, Texas-based Wingstop, which operates more than 530 locations throughout the United States and Mexico, has signed a master development agreement to expand its international presence into Russia.
The agreement with Baxtor Limited is for 50 Wingstop restaurants to open throughout Russia during the next 10 years. Wingstop expects the first location to open in Moscow by the end of 2013. Aurelian Global Holdings, an independent financial services boutique, served as the exclusive advisor on the agreement.
Internationally, Wingstop has 14 locations open in Mexico, and a master agreement for 120 stores to open there in the next decade.
