Burger chain Johnny Rockets announced it has opened its first location in Italy.
The restaurant opened in the Ikea-Elnos Shopping Centre in Brescia, Italy last month. It is owned by Giangiacomo Groppetti, of Groppetti Holding and features several elements in the chain’s Diner 2.0 design, including grey upholstered booths, red chairs and a wall with several phrases stressing the quality of the chain’s food.
According to President of Operations and Development James Walker, the franchisee has plans to open several more restaurants in Italy in the coming years.
