According to a pulse survey fielded in October 2024, 52% of restaurant development + design readers handle their own procurement.
Among those readers that do handle their own procurement, 61% said budget constraints and “value engineering” was their top challenge. Another 28% said that issues with suppliers was their top challenge in procurement.
Finally, 9% said that communicating with stakeholders was their top challenge. An additional 1% said they had other challenges.
