Bennigan's opened its second location in Doha, Qatar. It is the first American brand to open in Heritage Market Warka. The new restaurant serves the lunch, dinner and late night dayparts.

Fazoli’s signed agreements to develop 30 new restaurants with 13 franchise groups in fiscal year 2017, according to a recent announcement. This included the Italian fast-casual’s deal with Travel Centers of America to open four restaurants in highway rest stop locations.

Starbucks Coffee Company announced the opening of its third Reserve Roastery in the U.S., on Chicago’s tourist-heavy Magnificent Mile at the corner of North Michigan Ave. and Erie Street in 2019. It will be the largest location yet for the coffee behemoth.
