Fazoli’s signed agreements to develop 30 new restaurants with 13 franchise groups in fiscal year 2017, according to a recent announcement. This included the Italian fast-casual’s deal with Travel Centers of America to open four restaurants in highway rest stop locations.
The chain is offering reduced franchise fees for new multi-unit agreements of three or more nontraditional units, including at college campuses, airports and casinos.
Fazoli’s, which has nearly 220 restaurants across 25 states, has also been working on a brand refresh and premium menu launch. A new interior design is expected to roll out in select remodeled locations this summer.
