Bennigan's opened its second location in Doha, Qatar. It is the first American brand to open in Heritage Market Warka. The new restaurant serves the lunch, dinner and late night dayparts.
Bennigan’s first Doha restaurant, located next to the Qatar Tennis & Squash Complex, opened in May 2000. It is one of the highest-volume Bennigan’s in the chain’s global franchise system, according to a statement from Paul Mangiamele, chairman & CEO of Legendary Restaurant Brands LLC, parent company of Bennigan’s.

Bennigan’s filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in 2008 and launched a refresh in 2011.
Since the end of 2012, Legendary Restaurant Brands LLC has opened new franchise locations in the United States in Maryland, Florida and Virginia and globally in Mexico, Cyprus, Panama, and the UAE. A new corporate location debuted in Panama City, Fla., and the company now has more than 150 restaurants open or under contract globally.
Legendary Restaurant Brands plans to open additional Bennigan’s restaurants in California, Florida, Tennessee and Texas; and internationally in Mexico, Central America, Cyprus, Bahrain, India and Australia.
