DIY Restaurant Group launched its newest operation, named uBuild + Trugurt Duo, in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., this week.
The dual-branded restaurant is the first marriage of Chicago-based DIY's fast-casual uBuild Pizza Workshop with its dessert concept, Trugurt Frozen Yogurt, offering guests customizable frozen yogurt, smoothies, pizza, pasta, salads and more in an eco-friendly environment.
Trugurt Frozen Yogurt provides customized frozen yogurt that is USDA-certified organic. Menu options include fat-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, Kosher and vegan-friendly choices, plus organic fruit smoothies and artisan teas. uBuild Pizza Workshop features fully customizable pizza, cooked in less than five minutes in a high-temperature oven, as well as build-your-own pasta and salad options.
Carlo Abunijmeh, founder and CEO of DIY Restaurant Group, says the company plans to expand the dual-branded concept nationwide.
