Granite City Food & Brewery plans to open the doors on a new 11,000-square-foot restaurant in Naperville, Ill., on October 29.
The polished casual, modern American restaurant features an on-site brewery and a new, upscale contemporary prototype design that the Minneapolis-based chain introduced in May 2012 in Troy, Mich. A full-service, wrap-around bar flows into an atrium, open kitchen, central hearth oven, private dining room and patio.
The on-site brewery, visible from inside the restaurant and available for tours, will produce a variety of fresh, handcrafted beers that will be served on tap and in growlers at the bar. A selection of 10 beers from Chicagoland microbreweries will be featured, as well.
Granite City Food & Brewery opened its first restaurant in 1999 and is currently located in 13 states. The new Naperville location is the chain's 31st location.
