Bad Hunter is a veg-forward restaurant and bar from Heisler Hospitality in the West Loop, which opened in July 2016. Their goal is simple: to create a joyful experience by presenting the highest quality food and drink in a comfortable, convivial setting. By taking a more ‘sessionable' approach to both the food and drink, this is a place to have lunch, linger over an afternoon glass of wine, enjoy dinner and stay for a cocktail. Heisler designed the 2,600 square-foot space to evoke the outdoors. A vintage trough was converted to house a centerpiece of greenery; in the northwest corner, ensconced in a wood-and-glass structure echoing greenhouses and British country homes, is the kitchen, shielded by chicken-wired glass.
