Klocke Estate, a 160-acre sustainable farm, brandy distillery, and restaurant nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley recently opened.
Klocke offers guests an environment to enjoy luxurious dining, learn about brandy and vermouth, and take in magnificent views of the Catskill Mountains, the Hudson Valley, and the Estate's vineyards and apple orchards.
Klocke’s was created by designer Ken Fulk. The welcoming first floor interior has a full dining room, lounge and bar with a seating area adjacent to the distillery for guests to enjoy an a la carte menu of seasonal fare. The second floor offers private dining and entertaining rooms. It features an additional bar and cook's kitchen with a view of the hand-hammered copper alembic Charentais still, a distillation apparatus imported from France.
"We are thrilled to offer an elevated dining experience without an air of pretense," says Kristine Danks, Klocke's general manager of hospitality. "Together with Klocke Estate's founder, we have developed an exceptional and wide-ranging brandy program, spanning a variety of fruits, aging, and geographies, including France, Spain, and the U.S."
