Designed by Smith Hanes Studio for Oliva Restaurant Group, Carmel is a new culinary destination in Atlanta that draws inspiration from the shores of California, the Yucatan Peninsula and the Mediterranean coast. The space features earthy, hand-textured plaster walls, woven rattan accents, warm-toned natural woods and expansive operable windows in the bar, bringing the outdoors into the restaurant.

Beyond the bar, guests walk through deep arched thresholds to enter an expansive, 1,600-square-foot dining room wrapped in a warm glow of light.
