Husband and wife duo, Erik and Florence Chol designed LouLou with global inspirations. It’s an upscale Santa Monica restaurant that boasts three open-air patios with Pacific Ocean views for a French-meets-Californian dining experience.
LouLou is located inside luxe outdoor shopping mall, The Santa Monica Place. The French couple designed the 6,000-square-foot space to transport guests directly to the Riviera with rattan armchairs and bohemian light fixtures. The restaurant, rooftop bar and lounge offers French-Mediterranean cuisine with a California flair – think calming neutral palette, organic wooden pergolas and tons of potted greenery.
LouLou also provides live entertainment nightly. As a continuation of its branding, LouLou invites guests to download shared Spotify playlists.
Other projects from Erik and Florence Chol include a renovation of the 117-year-old Globe Theater in downtown Los Angeles in 2015.
