Japan-based fast-casual concept Pepper Lunch has signed its first development agreement for North America. Established in 1994, Pepper Lunch is a teppanyaki-style concept that currently has over 500 locations in 15 countries.

The B.I.D. Investment Group has agreed to develop 10 Pepper Lunch locations in and around the Phoenix, AZ area over the next five years. The first location is expected to open in late Q3, 2024.

"Pepper Lunch’s value proposition, combined with the concept’s uniqueness and menu flavor profiles, has clearly positioned it to become America’s next big restaurant brand,” says Jake Ireland, Managing Partner of B.I.D. Investment Group.
