Fast-casual concept I Heart Mac & Cheese signed a 23-unit development agreement with franchise group Manor 3. All 23 locations will open in Long Island, N.Y., with nine slated to open in the next three years: three in 2019, four in 2020 and two in 2021.
From customizable macaroni and cheese bowls to grilled cheese sandwiches, I Heart Mac & Cheese offers comfort food in a fast-casual setting with no need for a fryer or hood systems. The chain debuted in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 2016 and quickly grew its presence in South Florida. Additional corporate locations are slated to open in New York, Georgia and South Carolina.
