When asked which technology solution they would like to have a better understanding of, 44% of restaurant development + design readers said kitchen and back-of-the-house solutions.
Trailing a distant second, 21% of readers said they would like a better understanding of POS systems and third-party integration. Another 17% said they’d like to know more about digital menu boards, loyalty programs and dining mining.
Finally, 18% said they had other concerns. Those include building information modeling, AI-related systems, and any system that would aid in promoting self-service or other labor-saving tech.
