Chicago-based Greek restaurant, Avli, opened its first location in Milwaukee with interior design by Chicago-based Gold Coast Interiors.
Avli, which means courtyard in Greek, provides a sense of bringing the outdoors in, and the design does just that. The cozy restaurant features two floors of dining space and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Milwaukee River and downtown skyline.
The newly renovated space features clean and contemporary decor with whites, wood and earth tones that evoke the experience of summer in Greece. The fun and festive atmosphere makes guests feel like they’ve enjoyed a brief trip to the Mediterranean.
