The Kingstide

The Kingstide is a coastal-inspired restaurant from the team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. It is the first waterfront restaurant located on Charleston’s Daniel Island. The Kingstide’s refined interiors offer a nautical nod to its setting along the Wando River, envisioned and executed by Charleston-based Cortney Bishop Design. The two-story space offers a 76-seat indoor dining room, a 52-seat outdoor patio and al fresco lounge options on the main floor. The open kitchen, also located on the first floor, features a wood-fired hearth and a front row seat to the action via the chef’s counter or raw bar. Upstairs, views are plentiful with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the 56-seat dining room, but the view is particularly good from the bar. The bar’s large windows open, blurring the line between indoors and out and connecting diners to an expansive second floor deck that seats 85. Rope-clad columns and draped pendant lighting complement the Lowcountry landscape. Casual seating options range from intimate banquettes to larger tables, ideal for a crowd, as well as two private dining rooms.
