For the restaurant’s first location outside of London, one of CetraRuddy’s primary design goals was to translate the original location’s unique spirit, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment that complements the shared bites menu and draws guests in throughout the day and into the night.
Juxtaposing a a modern material palette of stainless steel and frosted glass with old-world materials that incluewhite marble, rusticated metal, weathered woodand ceramic tile, the 4,100-square-foot Duck & Waffle HongKong space offers a 120-seat main dining area, along with a 30-seat lounge.
Thelarge central dining spaceis the design highlight. It features an open kitchen and island bar, sculpturalceiling treatments, and bold wall coverings whose pattern is mirrored in the custom-upholstered banquettes.
