Polonez is a well-known delicatessen brand in Turkey. Like so many retail brands, the company leveraged its popularity to enter the restaurant space by creating Grill Polonez Restaurants.
Their first unit, designed by Görkem Volkan Design Studio (GVDS), opened in Ataisehir, Istanbul, in 2015. The second location, also designed by GVDS, debuted in 2018 in Vadi Istanbul Shopping Mall. At once both large and surprisingly intimate, the new 850-square-meter restaurant and butcher/deli blurs the line between indoor and outdoor dining. Images courtesy of Ali Bekman
