  • After 40-plus years of ownership, Ralph & Pat Plumb, owners of the Newport, R.I., landmark Brick Alley Pub, have agreed to sell the Brick Alley Pub to The Heritage Restaurant Group, a Newport based restaurant group.
  • Starting this month, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is expanding its partnership into an additional 30-plus Sam’s Club stores throughout Montana, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.

  • Soulman’s Bar-B-Que, which first opened its doors just outside of Dallas in 1974, has opened the brand's 20th North Texas location.
  • Tim Hortons is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a line of retro-inspired merch, including jogger sets, hats, and a lunchbox.

  • Noodles & Company has signed a deal with DND Group Inc. to acquire six restaurant locations and open a total of 10 new restaurants in the Portland, Ore., area. The first location is slated to open in 2025.

  • "Moms are at the heart of our brand," says Tom Carr, chief marketing officer for Chicken Salad Chick. This is why on Friday, May 10, all of Chicken Salad Chick's 250-plus locations will be offering a BOGO deal to celebrate Mother's Day.
  • Voodoo Doughnut will collaborate with country music artist Kane Brown to create Kane Brown’s In The Air Doughnut, aptly named for Brown's In The Air tour. The promotion will be available in select markets and will donate a portion of sales to Boys & Girls Clubs.
