Full-service, casual dining concept Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill will introduce tabletop tablets to all 65 of its restaurants located across 16 states, primarily in the Eastern U.S.
The 7-inch tablets will be displayed on each restaurant table, giving guests the ability to interactively peruse its menu as well as order beverages, appetizers and desserts at their leisure. Guests can also use the tablets to play interactive games.
Additionally, guests can interact with friends via social media, pay their check at the table, and share real-time feedback on their dining experience.
The chain expects to complete installation of more than 3,300 tablets on restaurant tables by early next year, according to CEO Austen Mulinder.
