In an attempt to satisfy consumers’ cravings for the convenience of off-premises dining, P.F. Chang’s brought its To-Go concept to New York City, with plans to add more locations in other markets.

P.F. Chang’s To Go in the Theatre District measures 1,700 square feet, smaller than the company’s full-scale restaurants. Moving forward, these units’ smaller footprints will help the restaurant chain expand this concept via high-density metropolitan communities that don’t always offer space conducive to a full-scale restaurant. The decor incorporates P.F. Chang’s murals and warrior horse.

The To-Go locations offer online ordering, takeout, catering and delivery in areas that don’t have a traditional P.F. Chang’s restaurant nearby. P.F. Chang’s uses eco-friendly sealed packaging to maintain food quality and works with third-party delivery companies. The curated menu features P.F. Chang’s more popular dishes, including Lettuce Wraps, Mongolian Beef, Dynamite Shrimp and Spicy Chicken.

The chain plans to open two more locations in New York City, which will come in addition to the three P.F. Chang’s To Go Units the company operates in Chicago. Overall, the company plans to add 12 more P.F. Chang’s To Go Locations in such markets as Long Island, Florida, Colorado and Texas.
