Golden Chick opened its first location in Louisiana in May, in the capital city of Baton Rouge. The 2,400-square-foot restaurant features the chicken chain’s refreshed interior design. At this time, though, this location is only open for drive-thru, takeout and third-party delivery.

“Over the next few years, my goal is to open three to five more locations throughout this great state,” says franchisee Shay Ghafoor. A Golden Chick franchisee for eight years, Ghafoor has three additional restaurants in Texas.
