Buffalo Wild Wings brought its wings, beer and sports-based casual dining concept to Manhattan with the opening of a new 15,000-square-foot restaurant in Times Square.

Located at 253 West 47th Street, the Times Square unit resides in a new, freestanding building that features multi-level dining spaces and includes a private party room, a mezzanine-level bar and patio and a rooftop patio. The restaurant can accommodate approximately 550 guests and, true to the brand's sports roots, features many high-definition flat-screen TVs as well as a monster projection screen.

The restaurant follows the newest "Stadia" design prototype introduced by BWW in 2012. Its intent: to bring the energy and excitement of being inside a stadium into the casual dining environment.

"We're known as a gathering place for friends and family, so what better place to serve our guests than at one of the biggest global gathering places of all," said Sally Smith, president and CEO of Buffalo Wild Wings, of the Times Square location. "We're thrilled to add our Times Square opening to an already exciting year of milestones that have made the Buffalo Wild Wings experience even more accessible to our guests in the U.S. and beyond."
