Restaurateur Ric Addison of the Dream Hotel brand has announced the opening of two new Midtown Manhattan venues that will join the Addison Hospitality Group (AHG) portfolio. Magnolia Restaurant and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge, located at 350 West 40th Street, will open on December 5.

Located on the ground floor and spanning over 6,000 square feet, Magnolia Restaurant is an American bistro with an expansive bar, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Designed by Natalia Todorova of Gene Kaufman Architects, Magnolia Restaurant boasts white brick, natural textiles, rich wood, and polished brass amid sleek camel brown leather, basket weave fabrics, and plum and soft cream linens. The elongated dining area has additional seating in a seasonal, outdoor garden space.

With an enclosed interior for New York's colder months, Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge spans 4,000 square feet. Perched on the 36th floor, it features floor-to-ceiling windows, a glass roof, and a fireplace,. Patrons can enjoy specialty cocktails and light fare. A custom laser-cut mercury mirror brick wall and chainmail columns complement the floors of walnut herringbone and polished cement. Chairs in painted velvet upholstery and Christian Lacroix fabrics adorn the interior from which guests are treated to 360-degree views of New York City landmarks, including the Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, Times Square and the Hudson River.
