Daypart Design Served Poolside

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport opened a new poolside bar and grill, Lifted.

Dallas-based interior-architectural design firm waldrop+nichols studio designed the multi-use venue as a place for hotel guests and locals alike to swim, dine and lounge.

Upon arriving on the fifth floor, guests encounter a lively and eclectic mix of patterns, textures, and colors which carry through the dining room, bar and private dining lounge. Retractable floor-to-ceiling windows create a seamless open-air experience that connects the indoor space, pool and skyline views of the Boston Seaport District.

Vibrant pops of orange and teal pair with subdued neutrals in the geometric floor tiles. Custom ombre mosaics adorn the venue’s columns, table bases, and radius curve to create a playful and inviting atmosphere for guests of all ages spanning multiple dayparts.

In an effort to cater to various demographics, the design of the space allows it to transform throughout the day. Designers opted for flexible seating options to support family-friendly gatherings during the day and allow for an energetic nightclub-inspired bar and lounge at night.
