Saladworks, a 105-unit chain located primarily along the Atlantic coast from Boston to Washington, D.C., plans to expand nationally.

The expansion plan includes introducing a new menu, which the chain will roll out in January 2016. It will include popular healthful options, such as kale, quinoa and roasted Brussels sprouts, as well as farm-to-table influences.

The chain will also unveil a new prototype in the coming months, featuring a "more natural ambiance exuding fresh, sleek lines and a modern approach to sustainability."
