Just 36% of restaurant development + design readers surveyed in June said that business so far in 2025 was better than they had projected it to be. Another 19% said it was as good as they had projected it to be.
Together, that’s 55% of readers noting that business was as good or better than it had been projected to be.
The remaining 45% said business was as bad (11%) or worse (34%) than they had projected it to be in 2025.
