- Blue Marlin Partners and Trive Capital have partnered to acquire a majority stake in fast-casual concept Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Private equity firm Savory Fund has previously owned the brand since its 2017 acquisition. Both Savory and Mo’ Bettahs’ founders will retain significant minority stakes.

- Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgersis expanding its international footprint with three new locations in Canada. The deal will see locations open across Winnipeg over the next three years, with the first restaurant set to open in 2025.
