Popeyes and Jubilant Foodworks Limited signed an agreement to bring the chain to India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan in the coming years.
Popeyes is one of the world’s largest chicken quick-service restaurants with more than 3,400 restaurants in more than 25 countries around the world. This announcement comes on the heels of news that the fried-chicken chain will enter the U.K. market as well as build its presence in Mexico in 2021. Other international expansions over the past years include Spain, Switzerland, China, Brazil, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
