Smoothie chain Juice It Up! opened its new flagship location — the first to debut the brand’s completely refreshed store design — in Costa Mesa, Calif., this month. This corporate-owned location will also serve as an innovation kitchen for R&D and as a training and test center to develop and share best practices with franchisees systemwide.

The new store design, described in a release as “crisp, clean and fresh” features the brand’s new logo, signage and artwork. In-store elements include more comfortable seating and an Instagram-friendly statement wall showcasing the brand’s “Live Life Juiced” motto. To optimize convenience, guests may order via Juice It Up!’s mobile app, by calling ahead, via DoorDash or in-store.

The prototype, which will be implemented in all new Juice It Up! locations moving forward, is focused on transparency by enabling guests to see their order being made from start to finish, including the chain’s açaí and superfruit bowl bar that displays the many toppings guests can choose from. 

The updated menu design was intended to make it easier for guests to navigate the brand’s menu of functional products, and the dedicated pickup counter offers even more convenience to quickly grab pickup orders.

As with all Juice It Up! locations, the Costa Mesa team is adhering to the health and safety protocols set by the state and the CDC, including enhanced sanitization standards, physical distancing, facial coverings and gloves for employees.
