Mediterranean fast-casual The Hummus & Pita Co. signed a multi-unit deal to expand in the Southeast. Franchisees Jay Gill and Patrick Sidhu will bring five locations to the Atlanta area over the next two years.
Gill and Sidhu are partners in Premier Kings, Inc., the largest Burger King franchise in the country, with more than 170 locations. They also have 14 franchised Popeyes restaurants throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The Hummus & Pita Co. also has units under development in Detroit and Los Angeles. The chain launched in 2011.
