Houston, Texas-based Pizza Inn opened a non-traditional kiosk unit in a travel center near the Hobby Airport in Houston.
A kiosk branded as PIE — Pizza Inn Express — offers customers Pizza Inn pizza in a grab-and-go format.
“PIE is a new way to serve customers the same iconic, quality pizza they have come to expect from Pizza Inn, but in a faster setting, which is why it’s perfect for our travel center,” says franchisee Kiran Momin. It is the second kiosk unit in Texas and just the third system wide.
Pizza Inn, founded in 1958, is a subsidiary of RAVE Restaurant Group, based in Dallas. RAVE owns, franchises and supplies more than 300 Pizza Inn and Pie Five restaurants operating domestically and internationally.
