QSR hamburger concept Checkers & Rally’s announced its Model 4.0 growth strategy that includes three design plans for free-standing locations, a value-engineered on-site plan, a new modular building and a container building using reclaimed shipping containers as structural supports.
According to the company, the modular and shipping container stores should cut 5 to 12 weeks from the development timeline and offer savings of up to $100,000 or more.
Several franchises have already signed on to open modular and container options in markets such as South Florida, Los Angeles, Tampa, Nashville and Houston.
