Buffet chain Cici's Pizza has changed its name as part of a rebranding effort.
The company now goes as just Cicis, and has added the tagline "Beyond Pizza," to reflect the full scope of the chain's menu, which also includes salad, soup, pasta and dessert.
Along with the new name, the company rolled out a new logo that shows various shapes merging around at a central point, "representing variety, as well as individuals coming together."
A new prototype restaurant in sync with the company's new branding will also open in the second quarter of 2016. The design will feature a new color palette, graphics and layout. At least 20 of these stores will be built based on this prototype in 2016-2017.
