While 43% of restaurant development + design readers surveyed said the bars they design and build are staying the same size relative to the past, another 30% noted that their bar projects are getting bigger.

An additional 12% said that bars and bar areas they worked on were getting smaller (perhaps because footprints are shrinking in many segments). Finally, 15% said that they are not including bars at all in their restaurant projects.
