Opened in February 2022, Moréa is a 275-seat Mediterranean restaurant that features Greek-inspired murals, glass art installations and floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto Fort Lauderdale beach in Florida.
Moréa was designed by owners/operators LM Restaurants with help from designer and restaurateur Giorgio Bakatsias. The maximalist space includes a dining room, bar and waterfront patio. The dining room and bar are separated by a terracotta-colored wall with large oval windows. The wall was designed by Chihuly protege, Doug Frates, the same artist who created the hand-blown glass installation that hangs throughout the space. The contemporary light fixtures were designed by Miami-based artist Nick Allen.
