New York coffee roasters Toby’s Estate opened a second location in Brooklyn.
This space will serve as retail café and an additional roasting facility.
Located in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood, the coffee program at this location features a rotating pour-over menu and Espresso drinks, among other items.
The 1,800 square foot café features 40 seats.
One of the cafe’s more distinctive design features is a white marble bar that showcases some of the coffee-making equipment. The equipment package includes a custom three-group espresso machine and coffee grinders.
The kitchen at Toby’s Bushwick serves a daily brunch menu including specialty egg sandwiches and wraps, a housemade granola bowl with Greek yogurt and fruit and toast topped with burrata, oven-roasted tomatoes and Mike’s Hot Honey.
Toby’s Bushwick also features various pastries from local purveyors displayed behind glass.
The Bushwick location is home to a restored vintage coffee roaster, which will allow Toby’s to increase its roasting capacity while staying true to the company’s small-batch philosophy.
Toby’s Estate’s locations include the Brooklyn Roastery & Cafe in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; Long Island City Cafe & Courtyard; West Village Cafe & Brew Parlor; a location at Urbanspace Vanderbilt in Midtown and the newest café and roastery location in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
