Hockey Stars at New MSP Airport Concept
HSM Host recently opened Minnesota Wild Bar, its newest dining and drinking diversion for travelers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The restaurant, designed by Ideation Design Group (IDG), celebrates the state’s love of hockey in general and its NHL team, the Minnesota Wild, in particular.

Bar Symon Opens in Dulles Airport
Concessions International (CI) has opened Bar Symon, a bistro-style concept created by James Beard award-winning Iron Chef Michael Symon, in Dulles International Airport’s Terminal D. The restaurant is a joint venture between CI and Cleveland-based United Concessions Group (UCG), an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) owned by Hayat Rababy.

Big Boy is dead! Long live Big Boy! That seems to sum things up for the Warren, Mich.-based franchisor. It would appear, on one hand, that better days are behind the aging brand despite an attempt four years ago to rev sales with a new full-service prototype. Yet on the other hand, the legacy brand is re-inventing itself. “Quite a bit has changed in four years. The model has had to change,” concedes CEO Keith Sirois.
