Tennessee-based Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will bring its homestyle comfort food to Hollywood with the launch of Cracker Barrel Kitchen, the chain’s first West Coast ghost kitchen. Serving the Hollywood area, Cracker Barrel Kitchen will exclusively offer delivery of homestyle favorites – from Buttermilk Pancakes to Country Fried Steak – with DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub.
While the chain traditionally locates its restaurants along highways throughout the core of America, the expansion of the company’s virtual brands like Cracker Barrel Kitchen will pave the way for the concept to enter some of the country’s biggest cities.
Cracker Barrel’s Los Angeles ghost kitchen will also serve the menu from the company’s virtual brands Chicken 'n Biscuits by Cracker Barrel and The Pancake Kitchen by Cracker Barrel.
After a successful pilot with Chicken 'n Biscuits by Cracker Barrel, the brand will expand to operate out of 500 of Cracker Barrel's more than 660 stores this month, and The Pancake Kitchen by Cracker Barrel will launch in 100 stores.
In the coming months, Cracker Barrel Kitchen plans to expand to additional cities within Los Angeles County.
