Asheville, N.C.-based Southern kitchen and bar chain Tupelo Honey will open six new
locations by the end of 2020. Currently, the chain has 14 locations across 7 states.

Confirmed locations for new restaurants include Boise, Idaho; Uptown Charlotte, N.C.; Grand Rapids, Mich. and Des Moines, Iowa.
“We’ve been looking for the right locations to continue our brand expansion over the last few years,” says CEO and Owner Stephen Frabitore.
“In 2020, we will open at least three Midwest locations and look forward to sharing our scratch-made Southern story with new guests. In Charlotte, we’re excited to expand our audience to the very heart of Uptown.”

Since opening the original location in Asheville, N.C., in 2000, the Tupelo Honey team expanded primarily within the Southeast. In 2017, Tupelo Honey headed west, opening its doors in Denver, Colo., followed by Frisco, Texas. Over the last decade, Tupelo Honey’s leadership team has worked to create an infrastructure that is primed to open four to five stores a year over the next five years.
