Hooters of America has inked a franchise agreement with new partner Hooters Baltics to open restaurants in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, the company's first move into that region.
Hooters Baltics partners include two former members of the Lithuanian national basketball team, Darius Songaila and Robertas Javtokas. Darius’ wife, Gintare Songaile, is serving as the company’s general manager and director of marketing.
The first store is slated to open this year in Vilnius, Lithuania, with openings in Latvia and Estonia to follow.
