Arby’s Unveils New Inspire Prototype Design, Unit Formats
Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc., which operates or franchises nearly 3,400 Arby's restaurants worldwide unveiled a new Inspire restaurant design and format at a unit in White House, Tenn., on Nov. 17, 2014. The opening kicks off a multi-year commitment to remodeling and building new restaurants.

“Fast-Fine” Pioneer Fresh To Order Enters South Carolina
Atlanta-based Fresh To Order (f2o) opened its 13th location on November 19 and the first for the fast-casual brand in South Carolina. Located in Greenville, the new unit is operated by f2o franchisee Real Restaurant Group LLC, which plans to open five additional units in the Charlotte market.

Total consumer traffic to U.S. restaurants and foodservice outlets was flat in the quarter ending September 2014, but the quick service restaurant categories of fast-casual, coffee/donut/bagel, and Mexican posted visit gains, reports The NPD Group, a market research firm covering the restaurant industry.
