San Francisco-based SAJJ Mediterranean, a fast-casual specializing in customizable Middle Eastern cuisine, has aggressive plans for the next year, including the opening of three locations in California.
The California cities with SAJJ Mediterranean sites in development include:
- Irvine: The second Southern California location plans to open its doors by Nov. 1, joining another Orange County location in Rancho Santa.
- San Jose: The brand’s second location in the city of San Jose will open in the MarketCenter in December.
- San Ramon: The San Ramon store will open in early 2019 in the Shops at Bishop Ranch development.
The growing chain plans to have 15 locations open by the end of next year, with sights set on strengthening their hold in the Bay Area’s Mid-Peninsula and East Bay and in Southern California. Plans are also being finalized to expand beyond the Golden State and into markets outside of California throughout the next two years. SAJJ Mediterranean currently operates seven units, with the most recent opening in San Francisco’s Financial District in July.
