Buffalo Wild Wings GO opened its latest location in Hurricane, W.V.
BWW GO units are the takeout-only spin-off of the chain’s full-service wings concept and offer a limited menu of the chain’s most popular and takeout-friendly menu items — traditional and boneless wings, chicken dippers, burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fries and more.
The Hurricane location is owned and operated by Little General Stores, a franchise group with businesses across West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio. The opening also coincides with the debut of a neighboring Dunkin’ owned by Little General Stores — and both restaurant chains are under the Inspire Brands umbrella.
The Hurricane location features a dedicated pickup window for third-party delivery couriers and order-ahead guests.
Prior to the pandemic, off-premises orders made up 15% of BWW sales, according to a 2024 report from CNBC. Takeout and delivery now account for roughly one-third of the chain’s sales.
BWW began testing express formats in 2017 and launched its takeout-only BWW GO concept in May 2020 and had 100 stand-alone BWW GO locations by 2024. In addition to serving as the chain’s takeout format, BWW has branded its takeout and delivery areas and materials with BWW GO branding.
