RSW is transitioning to a vending-focused dining model designed to meet the needs of high-traffic airport environments and to offer quick, convenient meal options for passengers.Travelers flying through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) now have access to sliders on demand from a White Castle automated kiosk that was installed in the airport’s recently renovated terminal food court.
While fans of the brand's Shrimp Nibblers may be disappointed, this unattended unit serves a limited menu of White Castle's iconic sliders.
The kiosk installation is part of a partnership with Just Baked, an automated food kiosk company, and Evolvending, a provider of automated dining solutions in travel hubs. It reflects RSW’s transition to a vending-focused dining model designed to meet the needs of high-traffic airport environments and to offer quick, convenient meal options for passengers.
The RSW location builds on the brand’s expanding presence in airport settings, which includes an existing automated kiosk at Boston Logan International Airport and there are plans to add more across the U.S.
